I want to buy a drill and screwdriver combination for small jobs around the house.?
What brand is best? And what should I look?
It should be wireless. It would be really nice if it was two speeds. You drill on high speed, and you drive the screws in low speed (much more control). Two batteries instead of one would be nice too. That way when one goes down during a large job, just the other POPs. They sell drills with two batteries if you are looking for. More tension (12, 14.4, 18, 24), the best and most expensive. 12 volts works well. I think all brands are very good. If you want to save money, you can buy a reconditioned Skil. Here's the page with the 14.4-volt cordless screwdriver. Some of Stud Finders have them, etc. .. The two-speed drill is $ 54. The drilling of a flow is $ 35. The website has tons of tools.
