New cordless drill emits a spark?
You just bought a new B & D cordless drill. It emits a spark when you press the button. Is this normal or defective. I remember my dads old drill wire showing a spark while it was on. He said he was part of the thing () can not remember. He said he has taken but I do not think it has anything to worry about.
All electric motors have what is called the brush, there is s small magnets that mount against the frame in the engine, if you look in the rear the handle you can see the ventilation slots for ventilation of the engine, look over there and press the trigger if you see is what sparks the fact, if constant or some other place where there is a problem.personally I go back and see what the Merchant has to say.
